Banana Bread
Ingredients:
1 mixing bowl
1 loaf pan
4 ripe bananas
2 room temperature eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup oil (whatever)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
Carmel sauce ingredients (optional):
1 sauce pan
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water (can sub with banana rum or dark rum if you’re feeling frisky)
2 tablespoons butter
2 ripe bananas (cut up)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350° F
Mash the bananas in a large bowl
Mix in the eggs, vanilla, and oil
Mix in the rest of the ingredients
Grease loaf pan and add in mixture
Bake for 45 minutes
Carmel sauce directions (optional):
While bread is baking
In a sauce pan over medium heat, add the sugar and water
Cook until brown then add the butter and cut up bananas
Add sauce to Banana Bread after taking out of oven
