Onion Pie
Ingredients:
Shell:
1 cup crushed Ritz crackers
1/4 stick melted butter
Filling:
2 cups sliced onions
1/4 stick of butter
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
Salt
Directions:
Preheat over to 300°F
Shell:
Mix 1 cup crushed Ritz crackers and 1/4 stick melted butter
Press into a 9-inch pie pan
Filling:
Saute 2 cups sliced onions in 1/4 stick of butter and cook until transparent
Place onions in prepared pie shell
Combine 1 cup milk with 2 beaten eggs and pour over onion mixture
Top with 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese
Salt over all
Bake for 40 minutes
